If there is a way to make those turns a little easier to handle, I'm down for it !
Wilkes Marine in Santa Ana makes a 7" radius quadrant that makes steering easy. It is cast from solid stainless steel so it won't let you down.

For those of us running a cruiser, there is way too much room under that deck. In the event of a roll over, the last place you want to be is trapped under the deck. So, Joey Cucci applied some NASCAR technology, and fitted a framed window net under the dash to entry under the deck. Easy access pins allow removal for cleaning and maintenance.

As the years roll by, our backs tend to become less tolerant of the pounding we expeience during endurance racing. Back in the day, some of the pioneers of our sport adapted cheap truck seats to cushion the ride. While those seats are no longer available, there's still enough steel and aluminum out there to make your own!
